Elle Kaplan

As the Founding Partner and CEO of  Lexion Capital Management, Elle  focuses exclusively on providing  customized investment solutions. Elle  provides a broad range of wealth  and risk management advice to  individuals, foundations, trusts, and  endowments. Her analytical and  thoughtful approach is the product of  more than a decade of experience  in investment banking, institutional  trading and private wealth  management.

Elle believes that it is important and therefore empowering for every  individual - regardless of background - to have the skills necessary to  control their own financial future. With this goal in mind, Elle works  closely with her clients’ tax and legal advisors on a wide variety of  financial matters, including tax and estate planning. She also  oversees and serves as a liaison, supporting client needs through the  broad array of resources available at Lexion Capital Management.

Her investment advice has been widely sought after by every major financial publication.  CNBC, Reuters Money, CNN, and many others have featured her insight on financial issues ranging from Social Security benefits claims to the municipal bond market. Elle's journey from corporate banker to independent asset manager is a compelling one: Yahoo! Finance, The Glass Hammer, M.O., The Family Wealth Report and others have published profiles on her work and experience.

Elle holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Columbia  University. She is an active patron of various artistic groups and  wildlife causes. Elle is also a regular guest speaker at conferences and  lectures in the New York tri-state area. She spends a considerable  amount of time as a volunteer, teaching high school and college  students about something she is already passionate about- the financial  markets.
